Faduyile felicitates Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele on birthday

Ondo South Senator, Distinguished Senator Prof.Dayo Faduyile,OON has felicitated Majority Leader of The Nigerian Senate, Distinguished Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele ( MOB) as the eminent Lawmaker celebrates his birthday today 29th July,2026.
Senator Faduyile congratulating the Majority Leader of the 10th Senate in a special statement he personally endorsed noted that the Iyin Ekiti born Senate Majority Leader is a Lawyer, an activist, a Politician and trusted representative of the good people of Ekiti Central Senatorial District.
Senator Faduyile noted that the celebrant has a rich Legislative background having risen through the ranks, having started his rise in The National Assembly first as Member House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015 before his election to the Senate where he was Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and eventually The Majority Leader.
The Ondo South Senator said as human rights Lawyer and activist, Senator Bamidele was in the forefront of the struggle for the actualization of the June 12 mandate of Late Chief MKO Abiola, winner of June 12, 1993 election, adding that the celebrant is in the hall of fame of the history of June 12 as a defense counsel for Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola during his treason trial.
Faduyile added that Senator Bamidele is a thoroughbred progressive who as far back as 1992 had worked as a Legislative aide to President Bola Tinubu as Senator of The Federal Republic in 1992.
“Distinguished Majority Leader, Sir, as you add a year to your age today and as people of good conscience across Nigeria,nay, the world celebrate you on this auspicious occasion, I join the well-wishers to specially congratulate you profoundly on your birthday.
