The lawmaker, who commended the Executive Director, Medium and Emerging Taxpayers Directorate, Mrs. Bolaji Akintola, for her support and commitment to service, said though his background is in Medicine, his membership of the Senate has availed him insights into the commendable reforms being implemented by the NRS.
According to him, he will collaborate with the Directorate and provide legislative inputs to drive the successes of the Service.
“I am aware of the commendable reforms being put in place by the Nigeria Revenue Service and I will collaborate with the Directorate and be at the forefront of legislative inputs that will engender the strides of the Directorate,” Faduyile stated.
In her response, Mrs. Akintola congratulated the Senator on his election, noting that the Red Chamber would benefit from his rich professional experience. She described the lawmaker’s support as a welcome development that would strengthen the revenue reforms championed by the Service.
