Amb. Sola Iji obtains APC Governorship form.

Nigerian Ambassador to Togo and strongman of APC in Ondo state , Ambassador Olusola Iji has obtained his Expression of interest and governorship nomination form for the forthcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) Primaries in Ondo state.
The Igbobini born , Ondo state APC stalwart who visited APC national Secretariat in Abuja earlier today for the collection of the twenty two million , five hundred thousand naira forms was accompanied by his supporters among whom were Hon.Ogunrinde olusola Iji campaign director general,Barr.Bisi Ayeni, Bishop Gbelela and Mrs.Bakare popular called “Sayo’s mother”. Others are Dr. Dayo Folorunsho, Eng.Kolawole Segun , Hon. Eko, Hon Rotimi Agbede, Hon. Kunle Bada ,many others.

 

Ambassador Iji was received at the party Secretariat by top members of the national executive of All Progressives Congress, (APC). While welcoming Amb. Iji to the party Secretariat, South West national Vice Chairman APC, Pastor Bankole Oluwajana said the party is happy to have Amb. Iji from Ondo state, describing him as a formidable force and a reliable party man as well as a comrade who have always championed the course of the Progressives.
Pastor Oluwajana said as an executive of the party from the South West, he is impressed with the level of work done so far by Amb. Iji in his bid to stabilize APC in Ondo state. He congratulated Amb.Iji for taking the bold step of coming out among the horde of aspirants from Ondo state to obtain the Governorship form.

While presenting the form to Amb. Iji, Mr. Emmanuel Ibediro, the party’s organising secretary assured him that the national Secretariat will offer a level playing field for all the aspirants coming from Ondo state, assuring Amb.Iji of the necessary support of the Secretariat.

Amb. Iji told the party’s national executive that he is gunning for the Governorship of Ondo state and he is seeing his ambition as a rescue mission as the state is in urgent need of rescue.

After the collection of form, Amb. Iji had a press conference with journalists at the Secretariat where he fielded questions on his programmes and sundry issues concerning Ondo state.
