Akeredolu promises to fight poverty in Ondo.

  • Ondo state Governor ,Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has once again expressed the commitment of his administration to combat poverty by pursuing programmes and initiatives that will massively provide jobs for the youths of the state.
    The Governor said this during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the inauguration of The Niger Delta Support Programme , which held at the Cocoa Conference Room of the Governor’s office at Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo state capital.
    Governor Akeredolu said the Niger Delta support programme 4 was an extension of the micro Project Programme (MPP9)launched to tackle poverty and ensure that infrastructure are provided for the people of the state across the three senatorial districts .
    Akeredolu also noted that at least sixty nine projects are to be built in three local government areas of Akoko North westz Ilaje and Ondo East, while other local government areas have been identified for other projects in the second phase.
