President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of mrJoseph Chiedu Ugbo as the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC).
The appointment was announced by Mr. Laolu Akande, a senior media aide in the Presidency , who said the appointment takes effect from August 25th, 2020.
The offices of the two major Executive Directors of NDPHC was also retained by Engr. Ife Oyedele and Mr. Babayo Shehu.
Engr. Ife Oyedele , an APC strongman from Ondo State was in the race for the Governorship of Ondo State until the need for a cohesive party structure ahead of the October poll made him drop his Governorship ambition and align with the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,who emerged the winner of the Primary election of the party in Ondo State.
According to the statement made available to the press by Laolu Akande, three new Directors were also appointed for efficient management and administration of the Federal Government agency.
