Archbishop of Ondo Province, Most. Revd. Abiodun Lasebikan has counseled the Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu against probing the immediate past Governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko. He said embarking on a probe of the past administration will distract Akeredolu from his mandate which is providing good governance for the people of the state.

Lasebikan gave this advice at the Thanksgiving service marking Akeredolu’s inauguration, which also coincided with the 85th birthday anniversary of the Governor’s mother. The event held at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Cathedral, Owo yesterday.
Revd. Lasebikan while congratulating Akeredolu for his victory at the November 26th gubernatorial election and his successful inauguration, he stressed that the Governor should be wary of psychophants who will hang on to the corridor of power for survival without adding any value to his government. He noted that the Governor should forget about probing his predecessor as such gesture may distract his government.
