Gen Bajowa praises INEC for running credible polls.

The Jagunmolu of Ikaleland and Chairman of Awawa Media Communications Limited, Prince ( Dr) Gen .Olu Bajowa , OFR, has described the presidential election which held on Saturday, February 25th as a credible election and a departure from the past in the electoral narrative in Nigeria.

Gen Bajowa (rtd ) who spoke with newsmen after he had performed his civic duty noted that the turn out was very commendable and the people at the polling units in Igbotako, his country home , performed their civic responsibilty based on their love for the nation and not on any political movitvation or coloration.

The Ojagbulegun from the source stressed that the introduction of Bimodal Voters Accreditation System, BVAS, made the election very credible and it reflected the seriousness of the electoral body in their bid to get things right in their commitment to gifting Nigeria a water tight and unimpregnable electoral ammendment that is steeped in voters’ conviction and electoral credibility.

He said the BVAS did nt malfunction , while the Adhoc staff had shown serious and quite commendable resolve to their vow to ensure a hitch free electoral process.

Gen. Bajowa congratulated Nigerians whom he described as the ultimate winners for allowing the electoral process to run its full course without any let or hindrance.

The retired Army top brass called on INEC to sustain the tempo in the remaining elections holding on Saturday, March 11th, 2023.
