Hon.Chris Ayebusiwa wins APC Assembly ticket, emerges Party’s flag bearer

As the Primaries for the State Assembly election under the flagship of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC was concluded yesterday, May 20th, Hon. Chris Ayebusiwa, Member House of Assembly representing Okitipupa Constituency 1 has won the ticket of the ruling APC to represent his Constituency for another fresh term.

 

 

At the shadow poll which held on Wednesday, Hon. Ayebusiwa got the massive affirmation of his constituents through a line up vote which witnessed a huge turn out of card carrying members across the wards making up Okitipupa Constituency 1.

Hon. Ayebusiwa, it will be recalled, got elected into the Ondo State House of Assembly on the APC platform in March 2023 and was inaugurated into the 10th Assembly in June 2023. He is the Chairman House Committee on Tertiary Institutions while he also served as member of other high profile standing Committees of The House.

 

 

With his victory at the APC Assembly Primary, he looks set to return to The Assembly for second term as constituents have already began to build a formidable consensus around his candidacy.

A chieftain of APC from Constituency 1 who doubled at the Primary as Returning Officer, Mr. Osedele Olugbenga, speaking with thepolity. net at the collation venue, Manuwa Memorial College, Iju Odo,  said Politics apart, Hon. Ayebusiwa is a likable personality who carried himself with finesse and who is opened to everybody across the Constituency. He noted that his victory does not come as a surprise as it is long expected and as far as quality representation is concerned, he has done well by himself for the Constituency. Osedele said Ayebusiwa is a party man whom the party members can freely vouch for his level of quality representation, adding that his victory at the General election is a done deal. “Chris Ayebusiwa is a worthy son of Constituency 1 and today he has reaped the fruit of being a good member of the Assembly,” Osedele said.

Ayebusiwa specially appreciated Ondo State Governor , Lucky Aiyedatiwa for providing an enabling environment for a successful conduct of all the processes of the Primary election in Ondo State. He also thanked his constituents for the trust reposed in him, assuring them of  continuity of quality representation in Ondo State House of Assembly.
