It is time for APC to unite again in Ondo State- Olabode Omoyele

An All Progressives Congress,APC Chieftain and business magnate, Mr.Olabode Omoyele has charged the entire All Progressives Congress,APC party structure in Ondo State to close ranks and bond with a consensus resolve to clear the table in a victory swoop for the party in the January 2027 General election.

Olabode gave this indication in an official statement released to the Press on Monday morning titled, “time to unite across Ondo APC Party structure.” Olabode noted that the strength of the ruling party in Ondo State should not also become their weakness, stressing that why divergence opinion is allowed in party system, the chieftains should have their eyes on the greater goal which is to make sure that APC doesn’t lose at the General Poll.

Olabode said ahead of the party primaries in Ondo State, he had charged party faithfuls particularly those gunning for one elective office or the other not to allow their ambition to tear the party apart, stressing that while a lot of people vie for an elective office, only one winner can emerge par one political office.

” As part men and women, we must understand that we can’t all win at the same time and when there is an election only one clear winner can be declared. When people don’t win in a contest, particularly if they feel the victory should have come their way, the reaction is always very strong, albeit as loyal party people, we all have to allow the decision of our party to take preeminence no matter the rate of our grievances.

“Yes, it could be difficult decision to take for one to be told not to purse a mandate he or she believed should have been theirs but in all sincerity, every politician worth his or her place in the political circle understands quite well the polished status of party supremacy and no singular person can be bigger than the collective resolve of the party they belong.

” Personally as a party man, my appeal is for all the aggrieved parties after the primary to leg go of their grievance because the aggrieved today can as well become the one to celebrate victory tomorrow and when the aggrieved chose the part of grandstanding the party structure, it can have a negative spiral effect that can bring crack to the surface; if there is one thing Ondo APC can’t afford as we gravitate towards the decisive 2027 General election, it is a crack within the rank and file of the party.

” The opposition are waiting in the wings to harvest gains from the crack of the ruling party in Ondo State and this we must not cede to them. So, in good conscience, I appeal to all APC members to close ranks and let’s work together for an overwhelming victory of our party once again,”Olabode Omoyele charged.

He called on the APC leadership in Ondo State to promptly call stakeholders engagement to calm all frayed nerves, stressing that toxic interviews that can heat up the polity should be avoided at this material time.
