Kalasuwe congratulates First Baptist Church Okitipupa over silver Jubilee Celebration

The Kalasuwe of Apoi Land, Oba Prof Sunday Amuseghan has today congratulated the clergy and parishioners of The First Baptist Church , Fortunate chapel, Okitipupa on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the church.
The number one royal father of Apoi kingdom in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo state worshiped with the celebrants today 15th of December at the church auditorium. Oba Amuseghan while greeting the church said he is first a Christian before he became the king of Apoi, stressing that as a Deacon in Baptist Church, while his subjects reverence him, he returns all the reverence to God Almighty who is the king of all Kings.
Oba Amuseghan said he is happy at the history of the First Baptist Church Okitipupa, which foundation was laid by committed fathers of faith , whose legacy stand firm till today.
Oba Prof Amuseghan promised to continue to support the church with his means.
Earlier in his sermon at the church service, Revd. Adewole Adedeke while thanking God for the journey so far in the church of God charged the laity to ensure that the legacy of the first generation of the church founders should be improved on by this present generation of church members.
Revd. Adedeke stressed that it is time to work for the growth of the church of God.
