LASU shot hostel as cases of Covid 19 is reported.

The Management of Lagos State University (LASU) has lockdown one of its hostel at the College of Medicine ( LASUCOM) as three undergraduates have contracted Coronavirus.

In an information made available to the Press, the reported cases of COVID – 19 among undergraduates of the College of Medicine resident in the hostel ( three of them) was a cause for concern and to curb the spread of the virus, the hostel was temporarily shut down.

Lagos has been the epicenter of the spread of the virus as the Teaching Hospital in Lagos is said to be brewing with patients who have contracted the virus.

The management of the University charged both students and staff to abide by the necessary precautions and the COVID 19 safety protocols to prevent the spread of the pandemic in the University Community.
