Activities of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in all motor parks in Lagos State have resumed with immediate effect.

Reports revealed that the activities of the union were halted by the state government in September 2022.

Briefing journalists yesterday in Abuja, Comrade Yusuf Ibrahim Adeniyi, Secretary General of RTEAN, said a peaceful resolution was reached by the association and the state government after the intervention of President Bola Tinubu-led federal government.

Adeniyi announced the appointment of Comrade Adesina Teslim Hussaini a.k.a Okolomo as the new state chairman of RTEAN in Lagos, effective from January 1, 2024, and called on members to comply with the resolutions.

RTEAN’s National President, Musa Mohammed informed that all suspended members have been recalled for the peace and harmony of the body.
