Obi ’ll shock Nigerians to win with popular votes, says Ameh

Tamarauemi Ebimini

Politicians in the major political parties have been told not to underrate the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, for not having structures, as the electorate are his structure.

This was disclosed by the candidate of the LP for Ankpa, Olamaboro, Omala Federal Constituency, Chief Peter Ameh, at a media parley organised for National Assembly candidates, yesterday, in Lokoja by the Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

Ameh, who noted that contrary to the belief of politicians in other political parties that the LP lacked the needed structures to win the presidential election, said the LP rally across the country had proved them wrong.

He said the party had produced a governor at one time and numerous National Assembly members, as well as fielded candidates in various positions in the states.
