Prof. Faduyile mourns Gov. Akeredolu’s passing.

The Special Adviser on Health, Ondo State, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has expressed his condolences over the sudden and painful exit to the great beyond of Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, whose passing was announced earlier today officially by The State Government.

In a statement personally signed by Prof. Faduyile, and obtained by the press, he described Late Akeredolu as the architect of Modern Ondo State and a strong force in the South whose clamor for regional security independence will remain one of the indelible marks and unforgettable legacy.

He said the proud son of Owo , who was a fire brand Lawyer bestrode both the legal and political terrain like a collosus and had lived a larger than life streaks of achievement that has made him an enviable model even in death.

Faduyile maintained that the immediate past Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu will be sorely missed not just in the South-West where he was the Chairman of the South West Governors’ forum ( SWGF) but across Nigeria for his steadfastness and his unwavering ability to tell the truth to power whenever there was need for it during his life time, as well as in the legal profession, where he stood shoulder tall as a titan, leading the NBA on two consecutive terms.

Going further, Prof. Faduyile noted that the entire Ondo State though in a mourning mood over the former Governor’s most painful death, there is consolation in the fact that Gov. Akeredolu lived life to the full and has left worthy legacies that not even time can erode.

Prof. Faduyile while consoling the entire Owo Kingdom, the Olowo of Owo and the Akeredolu family, he noted that there is solace in the fact that the deceased Governor lived a fulfilled life.
