UTME 2025: Caleb Obagbalu shines with 350 aggregate scoring point.

A school leaver, Master Caleb Obagbalu has garnered aggregate score point of 350 in the just concluded University Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, as conducted by Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB.

Caleb Obagbalu who finished from Idepe High School, Idepe Okitipupa in Ondo State excitedly flaunted his Jamb result under the terse caption ‘paid off’ on his social media page.

The break down of Obagbalu’s result shows he scored 80 in English Language, 98 in Physics, 83 in Biology and 89 in Chemistry, totalling 350 score points.

Obagbalu in a telephone chat with thepolity. net said he put in to study Medicine at the University of Benin, adding that while he prayed like he didn’t read, he read like he didn’t pray, expressing optimism that his score will stand him in a good stead to study his choice course.

According to the Jamb Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, a total of 2,030,862 candidates registered for the 2025 UTME, which was conducted across 882 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

The Board revealed that more than 1.5 million candidates out of 2, 030, 627 million candidates who sat for the examination scored below the 200 minimum admissible marks for university admissions in Nigeria.
