Governor Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has constituted the Ondo State All Progressives Congress campaign committee ahead of the commencement of the Governorship election campaign exercise which will start in earnest in Ondo State. The Governor in a statement made available to the press on the Central committee and other sub committees constituted, said there is no faction or fracture of any kind within the rank and file of Ondo State APC.

According to the list of committees, Chief Ade Adetimehin is designated as the Chairman of the Campaign Council while Chief Victor Olabintan continues as the Director General of the Campaign Council.

The Governor appointed three Deputy Directors General to assist Chief Victor Olabintan in the three senatorial districts of Ondo State as follows:
Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, Ondo North.
Col. Apata (RTD), Ondo Central and Prof. Adedayo Francis Faduyile, Ondo South.

Among the other committees constituted are Special interest, Legal Matters, Medical unit, Media and Mobilisation, Youth mobilisation, poll unit canvassers and many more.

It will be recalled that Prof. Dayo Faduyile, a consultant Pathologist and Forensic Medicine expert is the immediate past President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA). He is an academic at the Lagos State University (LASU), and in the field of politics , he is a grassroots mobiliser and an APC strongman from Unit 5 Ikoya/Igbinsin ward in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the Ondo Southern Senatorial District.

With the Constitution of the all inclusive campaign Council by Gov. Akeredolu, the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State has unveiled an array of high wired politicians and technocrats who will drive the campaign for the second term bid of the incumbent Governor of Ondo State. Prominent among the party stalwarts who made the list are Chief Olusola Oke, Engr. Ife Oyedele, Mr. Sehinde Fadeni, Dr. Pius Osunyikanmi, Rt. Bamidele Oleyeloogun, Prince Koko Obazuaye, Mr. Benjamin Olomidegun , Mr. Donald Ojogo, Akinwumi Sowore and a host of others.
