Kogi Governorship Election: Dino Melaye wins his polling unit

The Kogi State governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dino Melaye, has emerged victorious in his polling unit.
Melaye secured 210 votes, leaving his main rival, Ahmed Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), trailing with 22 votes.
Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) finished a distant third with 7 votes.
The remaining candidates, representing the National Rescue Movement, People’s Redemption Party, African Democratic Party, 001, and Social Democratic Party, garnered 001, 002, 001, and 001 votes, respectively.
Earlier, Melaye had raised concerns about alleged irregularities in the electoral process, claiming that result sheets were pre-filled at polling units in Ogori/Magongo local government areas.
