The National President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Prince Professor Adedayo Francis Faduyile adds a year today.
The professor of forensic medicine is a prince of Abodi of Ikale Land in Ondo southern senatorial district.
He is a medical professional who has held leadership role in the Lagos NMA before emerging national President of the body about two years back.
The celebrant also doubles as a consummate politician and a cool headed ‘never say die’ political player; a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state. He is a man of many parts who coordinates with an effortless ease his different commitments.
At different times he had thrown his hat in the ring , offering himself for service in different politically elective positions one time as member Ondo state House of Assembly and another time as Member of the House of Representatives, Abuja.
Prof. Faduyile is a philantropist whose noble contribution to the welfare of indigent students of Ikale Land cannot go unnoticed, though his preference when it comes to assisting the poor is ” withouts strings attached” and without noise or fanfare.
A cerebral gentleman he is, no doubt; Outside his love for medicine, he is in love with the prospect of using politics to better the lots of the hoi polloi . He will be running for governorship of Ondo state on the platform of the progressive APC which primary election is around the corner. If he emerges as the party’s flag bearer, he is hoping to ensure the best of brains are put together to create a new and better Ondo state.

Worthy of note is the fact that Faduyile has been in the forefront of the fight to stem the tide of the novel Coronavirus disease in Nigeria.
