Labour Party’s Eradiri loses his polling unit to Diri

The incumbent governor, Douye Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has emerged victorious at the polling units of his main rival, Udengs Eradiri of the Labour Party (LP).
Diri, who is seeking re-election, garnered 130 votes, while Eradiri polled a mere eight votes in unit 05, Ward 10, Yenagoa local government area (LGA) of the state.
Timipre Sylva, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), came in third with 45 votes.
In Yindimie Compound Square, polling unit 013, Ward 10, Sagbama Local Government Area, Governor Diri extended his lead, garnering 137 votes, leaving Sylva trailing with 55 votes.
Similarly, in Amadikurumor Compound Square, polling unit 014, Ward 10, the PDP maintained its lead with 195 votes, while the APC received 89. The Labour Party’s Eradiri, on the other hand, received only one vote in this unit.

In Unit 014, Ward 10, the PDP maintained its dominance, securing 195 votes, while the APC trailed with 89 votes. Eradiri received only one vote in Unit 014 and none in Unit 013.
