Maikanti Baroo is dead

The death of the former Group Managing Director , NNPC , Dr. Maikanti Baroo has been announced.

His demise was announced by the Group General Manager, Nigeria National Petroleum Commission, NNPC, Mallam Melle Kyari.

While announcing his death, Melle Kyari extolled the administrative acumen of the deceased whom he described as a mentor, a brother and a friend.

He said the deceased tour of duty as NNPC GMD greatly repositioned the Petroleum Commission and the oil sector both in Nigeria and withing the organization of Petroleum exporting commission.
