Gov Akeredolu , Deputy Governor Elect , Aiyedatiwa get certificate of returns.

The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his Deputy Governor elect, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa have earlier today gotten their Certificate of returns both as Governor and Deputy Governor elect.

The brief event held at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC’S) office , Akure.

The two elected Governor and Deputy Governor were accompanied by their wives, Aarabinrin Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu and Mrs. Aiyedatiwa and other key APC stakeholders in Ondo State.

Governor Akeredolu was declared winner of the October 10th 2020 Governorship poll having won majority votes in 15 out of 18 local government areas of Ondo State, polling total votes of 286, 135 to beat his closest rival, Eyitayo Jegede of PDP who polled 193, 348 votes.

Governor Akeredolu had in his election victory broadcast thanked the good people of Ondo State and promised to justify the trust reposed in him in his second term in office.
