NMA President expresses confidence over his chances of defeating Akeredolu in APC Primaries
The President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Dayo Faduyile, who had earlier indicated interest to run for the governorship election come October 10th in Ondo state, has expressed his confidence that he will beat the incumbent Governor of Ondo state arms down in the APC governorship primaries billed to take place very soon in Ondo state.
Dayo Francis Faduyile , a Professor of Pathology and an APC stalwart from Ondo South senatorial district said he is running for the governorship election in Ondo state because of his interest in the development of the state, stressing that his government when it comes to power will explore all the potentials of the state for social Economic development of the sunshine state.
He noted that the state Governor concentrated all the development in the central while the other senatorial districts are crying and yearning for development.
Dr . Faduyile, a prince of Abodi kingdom in Ikale Land expressed regret over the power outage in Ondo South, noting that it is quite unfortunate that an entire district can be disconnected from the national grid for so long. He said the power outage phenomomen has affected the Gross Domestic Product of the people of the area and has affected their economy negatively. Faduyile gave the assurance that as soon as he comes to power in Ondo state , the power challenge in Ondo South will be promptly resolved.
On the issue of APC primaries, the NMA boss said he will beat the state Governor with good margin , stressing that the APC knows what is good for them and will vote massively for him on the basis of his competence and performance.
He appealed to all members of the party in Ondo state to close ranks and resolve the crisis in the party before the party primaries that is fast approaching. He charged party members to allow the reconciliation committee headed by Chief Bisi Akande to work without hiccups as he noted that the party needs peace and understanding among rank and file of the party structure so that the APC primary can hold without rancour , twist or misunderstanding.
