Atiku Changes Party Again, Joins ADC.

In a major political move, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has left his old party. He has now officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This change shakes up the opposition as the country looks ahead to the next elections.

The formal registration happened in his home state of Adamawa on Monday. The event was simple, but its meaning is large. Atiku is searching for a new platform to launch his political ambitions.

Just days before, he had surprised many. He appeared before ADC supporters and leaders, telling them he was coming to their side. This direct approach has energized the smaller party.

This is not the first time Atiku has switched parties. His movement shows the unstable nature of Nigerian politics. Leaders often move between parties to find power, rather than building one.

The ADC is much smaller than the parties Atiku is used to. His entry is a huge boost for them. It gives the party immediate national attention and a famous candidate.

All eyes are now on the 2027 elections. Atiku’s jump to the ADC is a clear signal that the battle to lead Nigeria is already beginning. The political game has a new player on the field.
